By accessing or using this site you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully — they are a binding contract between you and us. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These Terms constitute an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and do not require any physical or digital signature.
You must be at least 18 years old and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to place an order. If you are a minor, you may use the site only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
You may use the site for lawful, personal purposes only. You agree not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, scrape or copy its content, introduce malicious code, impersonate anyone, or access it other than through the interface we provide. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and one-time passwords confidential and for activity under your account.
We take care to present our pieces accurately, but slight variations in colour, finish, weight and dimension are inherent in handcrafted jewellery and are not defects. Screen rendering of colour and scale also varies by device.
All prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of Goods and Services Tax; delivery charges, also GST-inclusive, are shown as a separate line at checkout, so the total you confirm is the total you pay. The GST contained in your order is itemised on its tax invoice. Prices may change without notice, but a change will never apply to an order we have already confirmed. Where a price or description is published in obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than honour the error.
Your order is an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch of the item; an order confirmation or payment acknowledgement alone does not create one. We may decline or cancel an order where stock is unavailable, the address is not serviceable, payment fails verification, or we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse.
Payments are processed by our third-party payment gateway. We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials. Cash on Delivery is offered on eligible orders and PIN codes, up to the limit displayed at checkout.
Delivery timelines, charges and serviceability are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, and the condition in which goods may be sent back by our Returns & Exchanges Policy. Each of those policies is incorporated into these Terms.
Discount codes are non-transferable, hold no cash value, may be limited to one use per customer, and may be withdrawn at any time. We may cancel orders and void codes where a promotion is being abused.
If you submit a review, photograph or other content, you confirm it is your own and lawful, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use it in connection with the store. We may remove content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, misleading or otherwise objectionable, in line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
All content on this site — the Lax & Me Venture name, wordmark, logo, designs, imagery, photography, copy and code — is our property or licensed to us, and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and the Designs Act, 2000. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from it without our written permission.
Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms.
Besides the strictly necessary cookies the store needs to work, we use analytics and marketing cookies, tags and pixels — including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel — to measure how the site is used and to show you relevant Samsarah pieces on other platforms. These are on by default. By using the site you agree to their use as described in our Cookie Policy.
You can turn analytics or marketing cookies off at any time through or the “Turn off non-essential” option in our cookie notice. Once you do, we stop using them on that browser and do not track you through them until you turn them back on.
The site may link to third-party websites and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.
The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure at all times. Care advice, sizing guidance and material information are given in good faith for general guidance only.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lax & Me Venture is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or products, and our aggregate liability in relation to any order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your rights in respect of defective goods under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, civil unrest, government action, failures of transport or telecommunications networks, or courier disruption.
You agree to indemnify Lax & Me Venture against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the site.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place an order governs that order. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the consumer forums available to you under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the courts at Ernakulam, Kerala shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.
